Wow already 10 months have gone by. Soon our little princess will be turning one and our next one will be here before we know it. October was such a fun filled month. We went apple picking and to a few pumpkin patches last month. Taelor had lot's of fun checking out everything. Halloween was great, as you can see Taelor was a ladybug. We went trick or treating at Grandma and Grandpa Alanis' house with cousin Caleb. Taelor wasn't too thrilled at first about her head piece but she kept it on while we were outside.
This past month, Taelor has learned to do so much. She learned how to clap her hands, shake her head, and she learned to say "mama", yeah finally!!! Oh and also daddy taught her how to raise her hands above her head for a touchdown when they watch football together. On Friday she stood on her own for the first time, each day she can stand a bit longer, but still hasn't taken a step yet. I am sure it won't be too long before she is off and running. Saul and I swear she has learned what to do with a phone. When we say ring ring, she puts it to her ear and says "yah". It is so cute.
What a week we had last week though. First Taelor had a little cold, then she ran a fever for 3 days, ended up with a rash a few days later which turns out she had Roseola, and on top of that she had the stomache flu. This was her first sickness and boy was it not fun. We felt so bad for her, it's sad when they can't tell you what's wrong. But thank God she is finally better and back to herself again. Now hopefully we don't catch what she had!
So, life is pretty busy with Taelor and we are enjoying every moment of it. We are also getting ready for our little man who will be joining us in 3 1/2 months. I am 25 weeks along and I am still feeling great ( a bit tired some days, as I don't have much time to rest with Miss busybody), and just getting bigger as the weeks go on. He is such a mover and keeps me up at night sometimes. Please pray for him, as a few weeks ago they found an ecogenic focus on his heart, which is still there, but the Dr.'s are certain there is nothing to be worried about and it should go away by my third trimester. So pray that it does and that he is a healthy little boy. We can't wait to meet our precious little miracle. We are so excited for Taelor to be a big sister. We know our lives will be very busy but we are looking forward to all the fun memories we get to experience with having two!
Well we are looking forward to the holidays, Saul's family (Aunt and cousins) will be out from
Well we hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy all the food (I know I will, except for the turkey), enjoy each other's company and remember to give thanks to God for all you have in your lives.
Happy Thanksgiving! We love all of you.
