{SURPRISE}....Ethan is 6 S.I.X.

So when you ask a 6 year old what he would like to do for his birthday and he say's he wants a surprise party, well you throw him a surprise party! Of course the theme was Lego's and he was SO surprised. I loved seeing his face and he asked how we got everyone there at the restaurant. It was fun to celebrate him with all his cousins and the rest of the family.

Ethan-
Happy 6th birthday my sweet boy. You are truly one of a kind and you have the biggest heart of any 6 year old I know. You make our lives complete, you smile at everything and your laugh is absolutely contagious. You know how to make everyone laugh and you say the most crazy things. Sometimes I think you are an old man trapped in a 6 year old body. You are an old soul at heart and I love that about you. I love how much you love your sister and how sweet you are to her. Your love for life is amazing and you can talk about animals all day long. You love Wildkrats and you have learned so much about all different kinds of animals. Ethan, you are a light to our lives and your positive outlook on life is what makes you, you! Talking is your forte, you love to talk, you love to ask questions, sometimes we just need a break from the questions but we love your inquisitiveness about anything and everything! You love Lego's, I mean you LOVE Lego's, you have almost the entire City. I hope your love for Lego's and all things that move will always be a part of you. Happy birthday little man, we can't wait to see what 6 has in store for you. You are our everything, our life, our favorite son!! Happy 6th birthday!!

{L.O.V.E is all around}...

Love, I love the word LOVE. I can have this word everywhere. I am not one who expects anything on Valentine's Day but I love to make that day a special day around here. I love to be loved and I love to love others. As for Valentine's Day of course I have to do something extra special for the kids and their Valentine's they take to school. I just can't buy the boxed the cards, sorry it's just not me, no offense to those that do, I just like to craft up something that is each of my kids. And so this year since Ethan is all about Lego's we did a bag of Lego's with a little sign that said "You are awesome!" As for Taelor, well right now it is all about the loom bracelet, this crazy fad of rubber band bracelets. Anyhow, somehow her and I thought it would be a "great" idea to make loom bracelets for all her classmates...well 32 bracelets later and 2 weeks of making them (yes she kind of helped me...she at least did half of them, ok a little less than half, either way they all got made). I think I just may rethink buying those boxes of them next year...maybe...but probably not :)

This month I also celebrated my 15 year anniversary at Tilly's!!!! Crazy to think I have been here for this long but really doesn't seem that long. I have made some amazing life long friends here and I am so blessed to have such an amazing career and a great work family!!

We took the kids miniature golfing this month, they had a blast! As for me, well let's just say I am glad I am not quitting my day job to be a golfer...haha

We had one rainy day this month...yes I love the rain and wish it would rain more here! We spent time as a family, and had a few coffee dates with the kids!
