Temecula Wineries

This weekend my hubby and I got to get away just the TWO of us. When we left our hotel we decided to drive the Temecula Wineries, and let me tell you it was absolutely gorgeous. The drive is so beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking, and the vinyards were amazing, not to mention the houses around the wineries. We visited the South Coast Winery Resort and Spa, and yep this will be our next stay for sure! We drove through most of the wineries to take in all the gorgeous views , then stopped off at Wilson Creek Winery for some relaxing, wine drinking time. It was PERFECT, quiet, tranquil, picturesque all while we enjoyed a glass of wine for Saul and I opted for a glass of Almond Champagne, and it was SO good! It was a perfect day, just the hubby and me, we can't wait to go back! It is even perfect for a day date!

Next to Christmas, Easter is my next favorite holiday. I have always loved this holiday even as a little girl. It was a time to celebrate that Jesus has risen, I can remember almost every one of my Easters. I always had a fancy new dress and even though we went to church every Sunday, this Easter Sunday was always so special. Now that I am grown up, I still look forward to Easter Sunday and this year was a blast as always. The day started at our wonderful church, then we headed to my parents for some great family time with all the rest of my family. Even though the weather was a bit cold, Taelor still had on her fancy dress as she was so excited weeks before to wear it and Ethan looked as cute as ever in his attire too (nothing too fancy, just a green polo shirt, boy clothes are just not the same hype :) The kids had a blast hanging out with their cousins and I had a great time chatting with all the wonderful ladies in my family. I hope everyone had a great Easter and really celebrated the true meaning of Easter.

Yes that is right, guilt FREE muffins, no butter or oil, and they taste so yummy!! I got this great recipe from my mother in law and let me tell you these are SO good, I added cranberries to them! If you want the recipe go here to my hubby's blog. Enjoy!

Better late than never....Ethan's 3rd Birthday

Wow, I totally forgot to post pictures from Ethan's 3rd birthday (almost 2 months ago). Oh well better late then never. Ethan is in LOVE with fire trucks so we had a tour of the fire station with his friends for his 3rd birthday. They were all so timid and so quiet but eventually warmed up and liked the firemen....I mean who wouldn't! It was a short tour as within minutes of arriving the first truck had to leave on a call, then 10 minutes after that another call came in and 15 minutes later another call! But it was short and sweet and afterwards we headed to lunch at the pizza place down the street. It was a great day celebrating my big 3 year old! Ethan your the biggest sweet heart ever, you think you are a comedian, you make everyone laugh and smile and you have the biggest heart of any 3 year old I know. You are more than words can even say, we love you more than you will ever know. Your a joy to be around and we look forward to your next year of life! We love you buddy!

Cute idea.....Pop Cans filled with "stuff"

I found this idea on this blog here Our Best Bites! I used bigger cans for these instead of the peach cans. I made these for my sweet friend Lauren as a fun send off gift for her wedding. One was labeled "Wedding Day" and the other was labeled "Flight to Greece", I filled the cans with some cute little things that I thought she would need since she isn't much of a candy girl. Filling them with candy is a great little gift too!

Watching the wedding....

The Royal wedding was absolutely gorgeous,  I was so excited about it that I set my alarm for 2:45am and watched it live, even my hubby woke up to watch it too. It was perfect, Catherine looked stunning, elegant, very poised and most of all happy, her dress was beautiful, she was beautiful,  she was glowing, I mean who wouldn't be when you are marrying a Prince knowing that one day you will be Queen! I loved the little boys in their red uniforms, the cute little flower girls in the cutest dresses, and I absolutely LOVED Pippa's dress too. The little boys in the choir made me choke up, the hymns that were sung were all so beautiful. The Abby was beautiful, the flowers were amazing. I loved all the fashion, the great hats (I wish it was custom to wear hats here), I loved it all!! I loved the loyalty of the Brits, the way that it all seemed so organized, especially when the guards were closing in on the Palace gates, there was no rushing or pushing it seemed like they all had respect for one another, truely amazing. Best of all I liked that my kids watched it later in the day, they were glued to the TV. They both know where England is so it was neat to show them a little of their culture to show them something that happens few and far between. Taelor loved that she was a "real" Princess and Ethan said she looked so beautiful, he said the little kids all looked adorable as well! I hope they will always remember watching this wedding, because I know I will!
