When a 2 year old puts his clothes away

And this is what you get when you ask a 2 year old to put his clothes away. (I think his sister tried to help him with this one too)!

Sunsets.........

One of our favorite FREE things to do is watch the sunset. Since Saul and I have been together (12 years ago), we started watching the sunsets, it is one of my favorite times of the day, and it doesn't get any better than to watch the sunset over the ocean with the people I love. Our special spot is Corona Del Mar at look out point, but sometimes it gets a bit crazy and now with the kids they need more than 10 feet to run around and plus there are no bathrooms, so we have been also going to the Montage, it has great little tables and a big grass area and clean bathrooms (a must for the kids). The other day we went to a little park right above Corona Del Mar called Begonia Park and it was perfect too, no one was there and the kids ran around without disturbing others. It is actually quite relaxing watching the day come to a close even with a 2 and a 3 year old running all around. They even appreciate it, I think, I hope. At least if anything they will always remember watching some beautiful sunsets, and I can only hope they always appreciate the beauty of it!

Graduation Day for Luke

We are so proud of Luke (Saul's brother) for all his hard work and it has finally paid off, he graduated a few weeks ago from Cal State Long Beach. The kiddos say, congratulations Uncle Luke, thanks for letting us be a part of your day!

My grumpy little princess

Oh yes and princesses get grumpy sometimes! Not sure what this face was all about but I just love it! Taelor, you crack me up with your facial expressions! I love you my sweetie!

What a look......

Why is it that this little face spells TROUBLE but can just be still adorable in every way! Oh Ethan you have been quiet a stinker lately but somehow you still manage to make mommy smile and laugh! I love you my little buddy!

Dodger Deb's 50th Birthday

My Aunt Debbie had such a fun 50th birthday party.....A Dodger Party! There were batting cages, laser tag, video games. cotton candy, Dodger Dogs (I heard they were good), and just good old times with the whole family. It was like a carnival, it was so much fun! We all had a blast. Thanks Aunt Debbie for having such a wonderful party!

Easter

I know I am so far behind in blogs. Just trying to catch up. Easter was so much fun this year. It is one of my favorite holidays and I love it even more with kids. They both had a blast, coloring eggs, hanging out with their cousins and the best part of all the Easter Egg Hunt at Papa's house! They both got $20 in the eggs they found, they were so excited. I love that my whole family gets together for this special holiday. My kids learned what Easter was all about. Taelor even told me that Jesus rose again! Ethan was just happy eating all the treats!

Best Friends....and little brother

Taelor, Ethan and Hailey!

Happy Mother's Day

Our Annual Mother's Day Tea
The two reasons why I love being a Mommy....
Taelor and Ethan

Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful, amazing and wonderful mommies in my life. You are all so special and deserve to relax and enjoy this special day honoring us woman as Moms, one of God's greatest gifts He can give.

I have this little book that sits on my night stand and I read it when I have a stressful day, the last few verses always remind me of why I am a mom.....

From Please Dear Lord make the Laundry go Away...

I fall asleep each night with a tear in my eye, for I know we've been blessed and not a day will go by without a thanks to the Lord, for "I am Mother", this feels me with joy, unlike any other.

Sure I have my days when I am tired and feel blue, but I will never resent my cute little two.

I've known in my heart, they will quickly outgrow me, so from one mom to the next I offer this plea...
Please see your child as a gift from above, and cherish each moment they fill you with love.
They look in your eyes with trust and with faith, for you are a hero that none can replace.
The cooking, the laundry, do seem to add up, but don't make these things make you miss them grow up.

Happy Mother's Day!
