We are now 17 weeks, just about 4 months (only 23 more weeks to go), we are almost half way there!! I have been feeling great! My energy has come back and I don't have that nauseous feeling anymore (at least for now!). We had our last Dr. appointment 2 weeks ago and we heard the heartbeat again. It was beating at 145 beats a minute ( a little less than last month) but that is normal. I have gained 6 pounds so far and no, I still have not hit the 100 lb mark, just one more pound to go! That will be a milestone for me!
As for Saul and I we are doing well. Saul is glad I am feeling more myself these days. He is so sympathetic and loving and has taken great care of me (and the baby). As the weeks go by we are getting more excited, especially seeing my belly grow. I know it does not look like much, but believe me, my waistline has expanded! Not too many pants still fit me these days, that is how I can tell. My wardrobe has really been narrowed down, I guess I will need to go shopping soon! Saul thinks my belly is cute and rubs it everyday.
Last week I felt the baby move inside of me for the first time. It felt like there was a little fish inside of me, the baby must have been swimming inside of me! It was a great feeling. We are still amazed at how God creates life and we thank him everyday for the little life He has brought into our lives.
In two weeks we get to find out the sex of the baby! We have enjoyed the anticipation of not knowing what it is, but we cannot wait to know if we are going to have a son or a daughter. We would love to hear what all of you think it is going to be. Remember to vote on the home page (I know, most of you think it's a girl), but we would love to see what you think. We will let you know on August 8th what we are having!
We want to thank everyone for all the kind words of encouragement and congratulations that were left in the guestbook. We love hearing from all of you and will cherish your words forever!
Keep us in your prayers!

A baby is on the way!
As many of you have already heard our great news, we wanted to let everyone know we are 15 weeks pregnant! Saul and I are so excited about our little one that will be due December 28. God has truely blessed us with a gift and we also want to thank everyone for their prayers over the last year, and remember miracles do happen, the little one inside my tummy is our little miracle.
Well, the last few months have been so exciting for us. We found out we were pregnant on May 7th. We took 4, yes 4 pregnancy tests just to make sure it was correct. At our first Dr. appointment we were able to see our little peanut. He or she did well and was a ham for the picture (it does have Alanis genes!) About a month ago (at 12 weeks) we heard the heartbeat for the first time, how amazing! It was beating strong at 150 beats a minute. Baby is doing well and growing stronger and getting bigger every day. Right now he or she is about 4 to 4 1/2 inches and is close to the size of a softball. Where this is fitting in my belly, I am still wondering. All the babies organs have formed and he/she looks more human like everyday (that is what the books say).
As for the parents to be, we are doing well. At the beginning I would get nauseous at night and I felt like all I did after work was sleep. I have only been sick once, thank goodness! Now that I am out of my first trimester I am feeling great! Being pregnant though has really mellowed me out. Yes, me the one who is always energized just does not have that kind of energy anymore. I think Saul has enjoyed the quiteness sometimes. Saul has been great, pampering me and taking on the household chores has been such a blessing. He is a wonderful husband and will be a great daddy. I have a little bump growing and yes I have gained a few pounds! I am sure all of you can't wait to see me get bigger!
I hope you enjoy our pregnancy journey with us. You all mean the world to us and we thank you for all the support and love we have and continue to receive. Please continue to pray for us and our little one. We love you all!
