Thankful, to be appreciative, the reason we celebrate Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for in our lives, so much to thank God for. We may not have everything in our lives that we dream of but we have a life the God has created for us and we are beyond thankful for the many blessings He has provided for us this year. I am thankful to serve an amazing God who my children love as well, thankful for family that is always there for us for love and support, thankful for friends that make our lives filled with laughter and great memories, thankful for a great school that our kids attend and the families we have met. We are thankful that one of us gets to stay at home with our children, a blessing that comes with struggles but yet is so much more than just overcoming the struggles. Thankful we have a home and food on our plates every night, and thankful that we have warm beds to lay our heads on. Thankful for a job that I get to go to everyday and feel like they are my other family. Thankful for kids who are well mannered, love Jesus and having a big heart for others. I can go on and on about all the blessings that we are thankful for, but most of all I am thankful for my husband and children who brighten my world everyday!
Taelor had a Thanksgiving play at school which was so cute and her if your ears weren't listening you might have missed the quiet little voice from our sweet little pilgrim!
We had 2 Thanksgiving dinners this year, one with my side of the family and then on Thanksgiving day we hosted just the four of us. Even though I could do without preparing and cooking the turkey (not something a vegetarian wants to do), our Thanksgiving meal was perfect. These were the things we are thankful for:
Daddy: My family, health and faith
Mommy: my family, God and our house
Taelor: family, nice food and a house to keep us warm
Ethan: my sister, mommy & daddy and pup (his stuffed animal)
I love Thanksgiving I love that it is the start of the holiday season and hopefully the start of fall weather (we do live in So Cal so I am not sure how much "fall" weather we will get). Hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving and we are thankful for all of you!

Soccer season....
Soccer has been our life the last 3 months. Taelor took the season off much to her dismay (mom and dad needed a break from both in soccer). It was a fun season, Ethan played so well and improved so much over this season. His team name was the Minions (yes like Dispicable Me). Such a great group of energized boys who all had a great time together. It was a fun season. Sad to say goodbye till next year. I will not miss the craziness of schedules but I will miss the Saturday games. Here's to a great season boys! Until next fall....

Roaring 20's....
Our sweet little (not so little anymore) niece turned 18 (uggh, when did that happen?) We had a big celebration with a Roaring 20's theme! It was a perfect theme and party! Everyone was dressed up in their fancy flapper dresses, suspenders, fedora and cabby hats, feather hair pieces and pearls. Even the kids looked so adorable and they had the best time playing pool and dancing the night away. It was a perfect night celebrating. Desire you have turned into such a beautiful lady inside and out who has a whole life ahead of herself. You make us proud for who you are. Auntie and Uncle love you so much and your little cousins adore you more then you will ever know. Keep dreaming big dreams my sweet niece and know that you are loved by so many people. Thank you for letting us celebrate you! I hope you remember this night forever!
