Family Bliss Films- The Wiliams Family 2009

My very dear friend Amanda and her friend Steve just started a new business called Family Bliss Films. They video your family and capture special moments between you and your children and capturing their own little personalities on camera. The video then gets edited to a short film with music. It was so much fun doing the video and watching the video makes me smile and cry for the amazing family I have! I love my little Taelor and Ethan and my wonderful husband Saul! Enjoy the video. Easter

All done for the day!

I just love Easter. It is one of my favorite holidays. I love the meaning of Easter and everything that comes along with the day, the dresses, the perfect outfits, the Easter baskets, eggs, but most of all remembering what Christ did for us. His amazing love is so AWESOME!! Our Easter was great. Taelor wanted to make sure the Easter bunny saw her room and was so excited to see what he brought her. We colored Easter eggs and had an egg hunting was a blast at my parents house, the kids enjoyed it. Ethan found 1 egg and that was all he cared about. My Dad is a bit crazy with the egg hunt thing and has the eggs numbered and each number is worth a certain $$ amount. So needless to say Taelor's eggs were worth $10, gees when I was a kid we just found eggs and there was no money attached, times have sure changed!

Ethan is walking!

Ethan is walking.
About a week ago, Ethan started taking more than 2 steps at a time and finally this week he has seemed to get it down....still VERY wobbly but oh it is so cute to see him walk! But, I am sure in for it, this kid already has me on my toes chasing him around while he is crawling, I will now be running after him! I really enjoy this milestone though, I know, kind of crazy but I really like when my kids have learned to walk. It's a whole new view of life for them. I can't believe my little boy is growing up into the early stages of a toddler. It is now starting to feel like I have twins! Oh but I just love it!

The Love Dare

I have been wanting to watch this movie since it came out. I have heard it is a great story and a great inspiration to a marriage. On Saturday night it was On Demand and Saul and I had a movie night and watched it. I have to admit the acting was not very good (ok, it was bad), but the story was GREAT! In the movie the man reads a book called The Love Dare which I happened to receive from 2 different people as gifts a few months ago and Saul and I have been wanting to start the book and take the challenge of all the dares. After watching the movie it inspired us to start The Love Dare.
It is a book that is a 40 day journey that has daily devotionals for each day (each chapter is no more than a few pages), then each day has a specific dare that has you perform acts of love for your spouse. I do not claim to have the perfect marriage, but I feel that even the best of marriages can always stand a challenge at love. What can it hurt, we might fall in love more than we already are? It is great we are doing this together, we are on day 2 and the book is already very inspirational. I have not even peaked forward to see what dares lay ahead of us but we are excited to accept the dares. I won't give away the dares, but I am sure I will share a few of the good ones. Pray for our 40 day Love Dare journey!

Creative Nest Designs

If you are ever in need of an invitation, holiday card or logo design please check out my dear friend Amanda's work at Creative Nest Designs. She did Ethan's invitation and I LOVED it. She did such a great job. I can't wait for another reason to have her do a card for me.

Potty Training

Before we had moved I had prepared Taelor that we were going to start really potty training. She had been showing interest for a while now and sat on the potty every once in a while. After the whole binkie incident I really thought twice about potty training in the same week but when Saturday came I told myself I would just try. Well my whole entire weekend was spent potty training and Taelor was so successful! At first she was a bit hesitant and would only sit on the potty for a few minutes at the most, but by mid day she finally went pee and boy did we make a huge deal about it!! Needless to say she was so sugared up on Saturday from all the "treats" she was given for going and for being dry! By Sunday she was doing the pee pee dance in front of us to let us know she was about to go! We had a few accidents but that is expected. We are on day 4 and she is doing great! She even went on the potty at Trader Joe's and Yogurtland. It is so cute seeing her little face light up after she goes. We are so proud of her. I hope she keeps up the good work! I am expecting accidents of course but really I am just happy to only have one in diapers now! But potty training is sure a lot of work! Wish us luck!

Bye Bye Binkie....

I did the impossible thing I thought was going to be so hard to do. I finally took away Taelor's binkie! For a while now she has only been using it for nap time (or when really fussy). We were down to only one binkie left, and I told her if she looses it then that is the last one. Well last Monday night I went to look in her bag for it and it wasn't there, so I told her it was lost. She kept saying "mommy, I need my binkie". I really did feel so bad, but I knew it was time for it to go. It took a few nights of her crying for a little while but by Wednesday she was fine and hasn't asked me for it since. It has been easier than I thought! Of course she was bribed with just about everything for the week and mommy bought her some nice "treats" to reward her for not using it. She says she is a big girl now and she doesn't need her binkie. I am so proud of her for not giving too much of a fuss. Now for her blankie, well that's another story, I don't think I will ever be able to get rid of that one, I will just have to keep buying new ones to keep it looking like new.

Ethan is my Best Friend

The other night while giving the kids a bath, Taelor says "Momma, Ethan my best friend" and she gives him a hug and a kiss. It's these little things that make my heart melt and I can remind her of this in a few years when all they do is fight!

Ethan's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday to my little man, Ethan. Really has a year already gone by, where has the time gone?? Ethan turned ONE on March 4th and I still can't believe it. I want to wish my little momma's boy a very Happy Birthday and we look forward to seeing you grow up even more this year. You are such an amazing, loveable little guy who gives the best hugs and kisses. You have a smile that brightens up a room and your laugh is just contagious. You love life and everything that you can possibly get your hands on to. You are all boy and sometimes I wish I could bottle up all your energy and drink it for myself. Ethan you are such a happy baby, who loves to cuddle and I just love to soak it all up. As your first year has gone by you are starting to learn so many new things. You have taken a few steps here and there so I am sure anyday now you will be walking (or should I say running with the energy you have!). You say momma, daddy, Tae-Tae, dog, nenny (not sure what that is yet, but you say that when you want something). Your little hands are into anything and everything, you have no fear of anything and I can already tell you are going to be a little dare devil! But I love you for who you are and I love being your mommy. You make me smile everyday and you have filled my life with so much joy!! I love you little Bubbies and I wish you a wonderful year!

Little Ladies Man

I love you Hailey!
I think I might have to worry when Ethan gets older, he is going to be such a ladies man!
