4 more weeks to go

On Thursday we will be 36 weeks! Only 4 more weeks to go. Time is really going by so fast. The past few weeks have been very busy with showers and getting ready for our little Taelor's arrival. My showers have all been so wonderful. My friends Theresa, Katrina, Tally and Nicole threw me a shower, it was a Tea and it turned out so cute. My other shower was given by my Mom and loving sisters, that also turned out wonderful. We received so many gifts and lots of clothes. I think our daughter already has more clothes than her mommy and daddy (a typical girl). She is already so spoiled and loved by so many. Thank you to everyone who attended the showers and for all the wonderful presents.
As for Saul and I, we have been busy getting everything ready for Taelor's arrival. The nursery is just about done and looks great. We find each other hanging out in her room rocking in the rocking chair. It is such a cozy room, we love it and hope that Taelor will find it just as cozy. I have been feeling good. Just getting bigger as the days go by. I just measured my waist and it is at 36 inches!!! I have gained around 23 pounds so far. I don't get as many kicks or punches these days, just a lot of rolling around. I think she is running out of room. Her foot gets caught under my ribs every once in a while and that doesn't feel to good, but I still love feeling her movements.
My energy level has gone down a bit and Saul say's I have a bit of a waddle when I first get up, he even tries to waddle himself and make fun of me at times, but I think it is cute. I think she has dropped since I seem to be able to breath a little easier now and I can manage to eat a full meal without getting too stuffed after a few bites. I have been experiencing the Braxton Hicks contractions lately, especially on Friday, they were coming all day 10-15 minutes apart. I think my body is starting to prepare for her to come out! Over the last few weeks we took our Baby Birthing Classes so we are fully prepared for labor......or at least we think so until it arrives and we both forget everything we learned. It was fun though, we did learn a few things (I know I learned that I will most likely be getting an epidural), I don't think I can tough it out going all natural with no drugs, but we will see what happens. As for my body, I have been blessed with very little aches and pains (for now). My pelvic bone is the only thing that is hurting right now, my back feels ok and my feet have not swollen too much. I will let you know in a few weeks how I am feeling then, I may be feeling different as I get bigger and the weeks get closer. I am still at work and will continue to work until December 15th (unless she comes earlier). Saul and I are trying to enjoy these last few weeks together. With Christmas coming up, we know time is going to go by so fast. Our little Taelor will be the best Christmas present ever!
Well, we hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you enjoy the next few weeks getting ready for the holidays....Christmas will be here before you know it and so will our little Taelor! We will keep you posted as the weeks get closer. Thank you for all the love and support we have received. Keep praying for us!
